Coco Peat is a spongy, lightweight, and biodegradable substrate coming straight from the coconut industry as a valuable and promising byproduct. It is an excellent soil-free media for both vegetable and flowering plants. When mixed with soil or potting mixes, cocopeat radically improves its texture, water absorption, and aeration capacity. Cocopeat is a multipurpose media that serves the dual purpose of both germination and growing media. You can grow a seed into the cocopeat till it becomes a fully grown mature plant. It is sterile and pest-free that’s why you can easily get rid of soil-borne diseases which hamper your plant’s growth. Cocopeat’s porous nature allows the roots to penetrate easily and maintains optimum oxygen level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Area of Application-<\/b><\/p>\n

Cocopeat is widely used in nurseries and commercial farms for a healthy harvest. It is ideal for seed germination, potting mixes, mushroom farming, growing microgreens, and of course in hydroponics. Being a sterile & neutral media, it does not affect the nutrient calculation that’s why commercial farms prefer cocopeat usually.
