pH is a measure of how acidic or basic the solution is at the time of reading. The range goes from 0 to 14, with 7 being neutral. The pH of a nutrient solution influences the availability of nutrients, so it should be maintained in the optimum range. The pH of nutrient water kept in your hydroponic reservoir gradually increases over time due to various factors. As and when plants grow, their roots increase the pH however the suitable pH range for most plants is 5.5-6.5. The lesser pH (upto 4) is less terrifying but a higher (basic) pH is a matter of concern. A sudden rise in pH level leads to the precipitation of nutrients from the hydroponic solution and hampers nutrient uptake by roots. Especially calcium starts precipitating out at pH above 6.5 and micronutrients (mainly Iron) are not absorbed by the roots. How to Use pH UP

Prepare the Solution:
Mix 1 spoon (~10g) of pH Up powder in a small quantity of RO/filtered water to make a stock solution.

Adjust pH:
Slowly add the solution to your main nutrient tank while stirring.
Test the pH after each addition.

Repeat as Needed:
Keep adjusting and testing until you reach the desired pH range.
