As and when plants grow, their roots increase the pH however the suitable pH range for most plants is 5.5-6.5. The lesser pH (upto 4) is less terrifying but a higher (basic) pH is a matter of concern. A sudden rise in pH level leads to the precipitation of nutrients from the hydroponic solution and hampers nutrient uptake by roots. Especially calcium starts precipitating out at pH above 6.5 and micronutrients (mainly Iron) are not absorbed by the roots. How to use pH Down?
- If the pH of your solution is higher than the desired range then add a few drops of pH down (4-5 drops maximum). Stir it well and leave it for 30 minutes.
- Check the pH of the solution, if it is still higher then repeat the above process until you get the desired pH.
* If the readings of the solution are lower than the desired range then you can add regular water to increase the pH.

Opening the Bottle:
Unscrew the cap carefully to open the bottle.
Do not rush. open the cap slowly to avoid any splashes or spills.
Creating a Small Hole in Bouch:
After opening the cap, examine the bouch for a pre-existing small opening.
If needed, create a small hole in the bouch using a clean, sharp object. Ensure the hole is small to control the flow of the solution.
Dropper Bouch Usage:
Do not open the bouch separately.
Drop-by-Drop Application:
Hold the bottle upright.
