A microgreens tray is a shallow tray used to grow microgreens. The tray is usually filled with a soil–less growing medium and the microgreens are grown on top of the medium. The seeds are usually spread out over the medium and then lightly covered with a thin layer of soilless medium?
For fodder like wheatgrass, hay and straw no media is required. just spread seeds on tray and maintain proper moisture to protect crop from fungal and bectarial infection.
